Karen Dean Fritts, Ph.D., LMFT, has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has been a Licensed California Marriage and Family Therapist for more than 30 years and studied under James F. Masterson M.D.. She teaches, lectures and publishes in the area of Early Development and Attachment Styles. Dr. Fritts is a Continuing Education Provider licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. Her popular educational vignettes entitled “Moments To Consider” were heard on local radio for ten years. She is an expert in early development and its effect on adulthood. In addition to her private practice in the Thousand Oaks area , Dr. Fritts works with corporations and small businesses as a coach, motivational speaker and consultant. She is a Clinical Member of several professional organizations in California and nationwide. She was a member of Rotary, Soroptimist and gives her professional time to agencies and organizations pro bono.
